Inflated balloons with an air pump. The confetti doesn't remain focussed on side of the balloons yet sits on whatever side the balloons are sagging. One or two of them did take randomly. They lasted a few hours until we deflated them ourselves. They are enjoyment to pop as the confetti floats everywhere.The balloons are pretty and look good, but unfortunately, they merely lasted about 8 hrs. Usually helium balloons last for days, but these were on a lawn in less than 12 hours. I would bear that in mind if you order and desire your balloons to be hanging for your party.Very happy with these balloons. The confetti actually comes inside each go up. We brought them to Party City to have them overpriced with helium. They keep going for a few hours and you are able to wring the balloon to reposition the confetti. A very sophisticated look to them
